I lost my bios password and I am unable to boot into my PC.My pc has important documents and files.Need help from support to open my PC. I got that PC in gift from my friend 10 months ago.Please help!!!

I got my ho admin password but there is a new problem now.I don't know how but drive is password protected now and I am unable to remove drielock password using Admin Password.Help me.Because I am a student and my father will not perchase a new hdd for my hp 245 G5 laptop.

Good to hear you got the admin password:smileyhappy:

 

Regarding the other issue, if your friend originally set the drivelock password you'll need to ask them for the code - another alternative would be to contact HP Business Support again, although I'm uncertain they would be able to remove this.

I know we used to provide Disabled Bypass Codes -- but we're not allowed to do that anymore.

I wish we could help you, but sorry, due to changes in Community policy, we are no longer able to provide any assistance with password reset or recovery issues.

Also please note that now, to resolve a forgotten BIOS or power-on password issue, since that password is embedded into the firmware of the system board, to replace that, a system board replacement is required -- and additional customer costs apply, and while the costs vary by laptop model, they are generally around $200 USD.
