Hi @TejasModokar, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing boot issues with your Victus by HP 15.6-inch Gaming Laptop (model 15-fb1000) after updating to Windows 11 version 24H2.

Potential Causes:

BIOS Compatibility: An outdated or corrupted BIOS can lead to boot problems after major OS updates.

Driver Conflicts: Incompatible or outdated drivers may cause system instability post-update.

Recommended Troubleshooting Steps:

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect all external devices.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
  • Reconnect the power adapter and try to boot the laptop.

Access BIOS Recovery:

  • With the laptop off, press and hold the Windows key + B, then press the power button for 2-3 seconds.
  • Release the power button but continue holding Windows + B until the BIOS recovery screen appears.
  • Follow on-screen instructions to recover the BIOS.

Update BIOS via USB:

  • On another computer, download the latest BIOS for your model from the HP Support Website.
  • Create a BIOS recovery USB drive using HP's BIOS Update Utility.
  • Insert the USB into your laptop, then use the Windows key + B method to initiate BIOS recovery.

Boot into Safe Mode:

  • If possible, access the Advanced Startup Options by powering on and off the laptop three times.
  • Navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings > Restart.
  • Press F4 to boot into Safe Mode.
  • Once in Safe Mode, update drivers and uninstall any recently added software that might be causing conflicts.

Perform System Restore:

  • If you have a restore point from before the update, use it to revert the system to a previous state.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
