Hello So my CMOS battery tray broke and now my computer won’t power on I wanted to know if the CMOS battery is required for the computer to turn on I understand if it’s not in it won’t hold data but I already have a desktop and I just want this as a side computer. Also does the battery pack need to be in as I know in other computers you don’t need the battery pack in. For example when I plug my charger in the led telling you that the computer is plugged in does not  come I was wondering if this might be the problem any help is greatly appreciated
