Initially had an issue with the integrated microphone apparently being unplugged so upon trying to fix that following support advice from HP and Windows forums its now led to my laptop getting stuck in a loop of not being able to boot up and requesting a Bitlocker recovery key to be able to do anything. I dont have a bitlocker key, was never given one and its not on my microsoft account or on a USB. ive had the computer 10 days so you can imagine my frustration.

Thanks for keeping me posted
At this point you will need to perform a System Recovery using the Recovery Media
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file inorder to install Windows operating system. Click here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c06162205 to Use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10, 7)
