I have a Spectre x360 (purchased July 2019) which in the last month has started crashing. It has Windows 10 Home (preinstalled by HP), and is on version 20H2, 19042.1165
It freezes, with the keyboard unresponsive (even to Ctrl-Alt-Del), although I can still move the mouse cursor around the screen, clicking does nothing.
Very occasionally the above blue screen of death with stopcode "WIN32K POWER WATCHDOG TIMEOUT" appears, but most of the time, the only thing I can do is close the laptop, leave it for 5 minutes, then reopen it, and then the above BSOD will appear. Sometimes the only thing I can do is a hard power down.
Windows Update says I am up-to-date. HP Support Assistant says there are no updates available.
I also tried a system restore, but the BSOD continues.
Anyone else experienced this and solved it, or any suggestions?

Just like any other BSOD error, Win 32k Power Watchdog Timeout error may also cause system crash and data loss situation. To fix the error, you can try the below methods:
- Roll back updated device drivers
- Check & remove 3rd party apps
- Disconnect any new hardware device
- Use Windows memory diagnostic tool

Hope it helps!
