Hello, helping a friend after her laptop was taken over by support scam.
The scammer corrupted the product information in the BIOS( or where ever it is stored)
Apparently I need DMI tool to fix but that tool is not available to general public. Laptop is out of warranty, will support still help or can someone on this board help.
I have product number, model, serial, system board CT number, Build ID, and Feature Byte.
Thank you for your help.
