When I press power button the fan works, the side LED light works and the caps lock light flickers 3 long flickers and 2 short but the screen is black. My laptop is HP 15s-fq5202TU . Please help me

Thanks for the detailed description, the 3 long and 2 short caps lock blinks on your HP 15s-fq5202TU indicate a memory (RAM) failure. Here's how you can troubleshoot and potentially fix it:

1. Power Reset the Laptop

This clears residual power and can sometimes resolve temporary memory issues:

  1. Turn off the laptop.
  2. Unplug the charger and remove any connected devices.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds.
  4. Plug the charger back in and try turning it on.


2. BIOS Restore:

1) Shut down the computer, keep the charger plugged in

2) Hold down the Windows and B buttons together while the computer is still turned off. 

3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B buttons until a BIOS Recovery screen appears. 

4) Follow the on-screen instructions and click on OK.

If this doesn't work, you have to replace the Memory on the Pc.
