HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk10000 Laptop PC (8VD49AV)

Hello,

I accepted a suggested BIOS update and now my fully functioning computer has completely stopped working.

Said update completed, but then, my laptop’s power button and display started blinking over and over.

i have tried everything. I’ve gotten two separate error messages after this: 500 and 502. Every time I’ve selected: ENTER: CONTINUE but I am once again met with the same flashing display and power button.

To be specific, I did this:

• BIOS update

• it completed

• My laptop wouldn’t start after this, just started flashing power button and screen over and over.

• System BIOS recovery (restored it to default)

several times and was met with the same flashing power button and screen every time.

• Same results: flashing screen and power button.

• Got two different errors.
• tried to restart both times, flashing power button and screen.

Strangely enough I am unable to find literally anyone who has ever shared my specific problem. If I need to take my laptop to someone to be fixed I will gladly do so, and I’m starting to think that’s my only option as I’ve tried everything I’ve seen to do.

I’m at a loss on what to do next, and I’m aggravated and upset. My laptop was functioning perfectly fine; and now I can’t even start it up thanks to a recommended BIOS update.

I am a student and need my laptop restored urgently.
