Hi, Hoping someone can help, recently my laptop turns on and then instantly turns off at the 'HP' logo. All i can access is the diagnostics (pressing escape on boot). All diag tests pass apart from the AC adapter but that does work and charges the laptop and even when unplugged it still shuts down at boot.

 

I have tried everything after looking in all forums and on hear. Ive disconnected the battery, hard drive etc and nothing. Tried holding the power button for numerous amount of times to clear the cmos etc and no joy. Also there is no cmos battery in this laptop so thats not the issue.

 

I have downloaded the latested Bios from HP but when i open it on another computer it doesnt open - just a spinning icon so i cant even do that.

 

Any help greatly appreciated.
