Hello,

I’ve been facing a serious issue with my Lenovo laptop. Initially, my laptop started turning off on its own. During startup, I often saw a TPM module error, and sometimes a BitLocker recovery key request appeared.

To fix it, I decided to reinstall Windows. After a clean installation of Windows 11, the same issue happened again — the laptop turned off randomly and showed the TPM error. So, I reinstalled Windows once more, but this time I used a local account instead of a Microsoft account. It worked fine for a while, but after a restart, the TPM issue appeared again.

When I entered the BIOS to check the TPM status, the laptop suddenly shut down again. After that, it wouldn’t power on. I looked online for solutions and found a method that suggested pressing Win + V + Power button. After trying that, a “CMOS reset” message appeared, but now the laptop always asks for a Power-On or Administrator password before booting.

I never set any BIOS or power-on password, so I’m completely locked out of my laptop. Could you please help me with a solution to remove or reset this password so I can access my system again?

Thank you.

Hello @SJN127 ,

Previously we already replied >here< and as this new post is asking for Lenovo in a HP board we are closing this too.

We already explained that asking for the Bios password is against the community rules.

Best Regards
