Hey, I normally shut my laptop to hibernate like I normally do but today when I turn it on, it just says at a blank screen and does nothing. The laptop and the screen turn on but I don't get the startup HP logo as usual or the bios options.
It's just a lit blank screen apart from hitting the ESC Key where it says 'ESC... Pause Startup' in the bottom left.
If I try hitting F10 on restarting for BIOS then its stuck at 'F10...BIOS Setup Options'. Although there's no beeping happening.
Please help, I have some important files on there!

Welcome to HP Forums,
This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries:)
I understand that the computer turns on with a black.
Appreciate your time and efforts in all the troubleshooting!
Are you facing this issue after an update?
Lets's reset a laptop.
View the video and refer to the steps to learn how you can reset your HP laptop computer.
Video of performing a power reset on your HP laptop with a removable battery
To perform a power reset on a laptop with a removable battery, use the following steps:
-
Turn off the computer.
-
Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
-
Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
-
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
-
Remove the battery from the battery compartment.
-
With the battery and power cord unplugged, press and hold the Power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual electrical charge from the capacitors.
-
Insert the battery and plug the AC adapter back into the laptop, but do not connect any of the peripheral devices.
-
Press the Power button to turn on the computer.
The computer starts normally or a startup menu opens.
NOTE:
If your computer does not start after pressing the Power button, then a power reset did not solved the startup issue. See Additional resources for further troubleshooting steps.
-
If a startup menu opens, use the arrow keys to select Start Windows Normally, and then press the Enter key.
-
After Windows opens, reconnect each peripheral device that was disconnected, one device at a time, until all devices are reconnected.
-
Your laptop has been reset. After a power reset, it is a good idea to run Windows Update and HP Support Assistant to update all device drivers. See Updating Drivers and Software with Windows Update (Windows 10, 😎 and Using HP Support Assistant (Windows 10, 8, 7) for more information.
Then, use this link: https://hp.care/2FKQvyl for guided troubleshooting steps for the issue you are facing with the PC.
