Hi  @Pienotav

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I hear your concern about your laptop refuses to power on even though the components you’ve checked seem fine.

Could you kindly  the exact model number of your HP laptop?

Does the laptop show the HP logo or any display at all before shutting off?

Do you hear any fan noise or beeps when the LED turns on?

Have you tried powering it on with the battery removed and only the charger connected?

Below are few steps you can try and confirm :

  1. Hard reset: Disconnect charger, remove battery (if removable), hold the power button for 30–60 seconds, then reconnect power and try again.
  2. Check charger and port: Ensure the adapter is working and the port isn’t loose or damaged.
  3. BIOS recovery: If the laptop powers briefly but doesn’t boot, attempt a BIOS recovery by pressing Windows key + B while powering on.
  4. Observe LED codes: The blinking pattern of the LED can indicate hardware issues (RAM, CPU, motherboard).

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
