Hey, I cannot for the life of me get my laptop to work! I have tried to hard reset it where I take off the battery and hold the power button for a minute and it still isn’t working. After I put the battery back on and try to turn it on, the power button will not light up, but the Wifi key has the orange light. I am all out of ideas!

Please, review this HP official article about such issues you experience now. Follow the appropriate steps that fit your case to attempt to fix the issue:

The article covers pretty much any scenario which you can troubleshoot at your home or office.

 

  • If you did try everything but nothing helped, I am afraid you will need to bring your computer (or ship it) to service - HP Authorized service center. If the computer is still under warranty, you will need to notify HP support first. If you are not sure where such a center is located, please contact HP support for assistance in finding one.
