Hi,

This usually means that the Hard Drive has failed and needs to be replaced.

What is the exact model or product number of your Stream? Here is how to find it:

Model number

You could also try HP hardware diagnostics at boot and see if there are any hardware failure ids.

Turn off the PC by holding the power button. Turn on PC and continously keep pressing ESC until startup menu appears and then press F2 to enter diagnostics. Try the fast test, or at least the hard drive test.

See if there are any hardware errors.

Let me know,

David

My model number is 4AL70UA#ABA. The serial number is 5CD821BZCX. Every time I try to go to the hard drive scan it doesn't have it up there just memory and storage search. I don't have any options on the boot menu
