Envy 13
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, my envy 13.3 shuts itself down when hit the 10% battery level.

.

Why dosent it go to 1%-0%?

And how do i make it run until the end?

Whats the reason hp makes it shut down qhen hitting 10%?

And is there any risk by running it until the battery really comes to 1%-0%? (Like in cellphones)?

Thank you.

Not HP, that is a default option from Windows. You can ask your machine to run down to 0% BUT from my view, tell it to run to 2% or 5% and notify you to plug AC adapter in or to save your work ... using Power options. Please try

(a) Right click battery icon, select Power options

(b) Select current plan and click Change plan settings,

(c) Select Change advanced settings,

(d) Go down to the End

Now you can pick options there to accommodate your requirements. Remember to click Apply before get out.

Regards.
