HP Pavillion laptop
Won't accept correct password and stuck in airplane mode. I installed new software.
Got message program crashed. Ran repair software. Then it quit working after that

Airplane Mode means simply that the built-in WiFi has been disabled. That is usually done with a Function key with a LED on that key that glows white when the WiFi is enabled, and red or orange when it is disabled. Pressing that function key then toggles the WiFi function.
What new software did you attempt to install that crashed the PC?
