HP Recommended
Product: HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dw1000 (1W798AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Started my Laptop and just got a series of horizontal lines for 30 secs or so.
Turned off and restarted but now just get black screen and Caps Lock key flashing 3 times.
 
Model 14-dw1011TU
Tried steps suggested in Internet. Ir remove peripherals, remove power lead, hold power key down for 15+ secs.
but no luck.
 
Laptop turns  on but just black screen and a very hot cpu and fan but  no other sign of life?
Does this mean I just throw my A$1200 laptop which is  less than 18 mths old in the bin.
Not very good for the planet even less  so for my wallet.
 
Anybody else have this problem?
Is this a known problem with this model?  Model 14-dw1011TU
What is the likely result/cost if I send it into HP support for diagnosis and quote for repair?

You can try  to change memory card.
