Laptop won't power on and there are no lights on the laptop (power supply light is on).

I've had this same issue twice before, but can't remember the exact steps.  I know I had to hold down a certain key combination for something like 30 seconds and it had to be done something like 3 times to work.  I can't seem to recall the right key combination or am doing something wrong.

That didn't work.  I think that would require the computer to be on to work and mine seems dead as a door nail.  Must be some other key combination.
