Windows 11 was recently installed and it worked fine 2 or 3 times following that. Then the computer itself did an 'update and shutdown' but hasn't turned back on since then. Has orange light at power source when I plug it in, so believe it has power. Can't remove battery. Tried unplugging and holding power for 15 seconds but nothing happens.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that your HP ENVY X360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-Ed1013dx does not power on.
I suggest that you follow the steps listed below to perform a hard reset on the unit.
1> Turn off the laptop, disconnect the power adapter.
2> Press and hold the F6 and power button for 20 seconds.
3> Then connect the power cable back and try turning on the laptop.
