I have tried to get into recovery mode, but it just sits on the hp loading screen forever. I have tried to boot to a USB to try to get to repair, with it getting stuck on the loading screen then going black. I enabled legacy support too. I ran the diagnostics and it failed the Hard drive short DST check with this error
RXHXTS-7AB90K-MFPV6-60R303
Help would be very appreciated.

Hi @Bataviakid,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community! I came across your post and wanted to assist you. I understand you are having issues booting the computer. Don't worry I'll be really glad to help you with this,
Superb effort, splendid troubleshooting and commendable diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you on that score. You are a valued HP customer and it is paramount to assist you here. I take it as a privilege to share this platform with you.
As I understand you've performed the hardware test and it resulted with the failure ID, I would suggest this to be a possible hardware failure. Before you contact our HP phone support for further assistance, I would recommend you run the test again and capture the correct failure ID. Depending on the test results. I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for further assistance.
If you wish you can get the hard drive replaced, this can be done either using the HP Part store, Or call the HP Phone support for a repair service.
