HP ENVY 15-bq000 x360 Convertible PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

I recently purchased this computer (around black friday) and for the last couple of days, I've been getting a Memory Management BSOD on my computer. It often happens around login or waking from sleep but also happens randomly when using the PC. I have ran the built in memory check on the uefi diagnose but it shows no problem with the physical RAM modules. I'm not sure what else to try. If you require more information, I'm happy to help.

Full product name: HP ENVY x360 - 15-bq051sa

Processor: AMD A12 APU - A12-9720P

Memory - 8GB

BIOS F.04

I worked out it was due to a driver conflict relating to the hp drive protection tool since it happened whenever it moved and I saw the light come on at the side then it would BSOD. Since removing, it now works

Hi @JonnyD100,

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂

I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers.

As I understand, your notebook gives a Blue Screen Error message.

When was the last time it worked fine?

Were there any hardware/software changes made?

Since memory check passed, let's try these steps to perform a system recovery.

Note: Back up your personal data and applications before performing a system recovery.
