Product: HP ENVY - 17t-ce000 CTO
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I tried to boot my HP ENVY 17t-ce000 CTO laptop and the power-on switch no longer works  I haven't exposed the laptop to any abuse; have not dropped it; there have been no electrical surges in the house, etc.  The PC just won't start any longer. Here is what I did to troubleshoot.  I opened the back and removed the battery.  I disconnected the adapter.  I then held down the power button for over 30-seconds; did NOT re-install the battery; connected the AC adapter and tried powering-on the laptop again. The power button would still not work.  The laptop was bought new in August, 2019.  Is there any contributor in the HP forum community that could offer any reset instructions, or give me the bad news.  Does it sound like my laptop is now a brick?  Thank you for any assistance or suggestions.
