I was playing a game and my computer suddenly shut down. I press the power button but it does't work. Also, I did not receive any error message when shutting down.

Hi @ismet27,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding computer shutting down randomly!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Perform Power Drain
- Unplug the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
- Hold the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any residual power.
- Plug in the charger without the battery and try turning it on.
Check for Overheating Issues
- If the laptop was too hot, it might have shut down automatically.
- Let it cool down for at least 30 minutes, then try turning it on.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Unplug everything (charger, USB devices, external monitors).
- Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
- Plug in the power adapter and try turning it on again.
Check Power Adapter & Charging Port
- Make sure the charger is working (try a different power outlet).
- If available, try another compatible charger.
- Look for damaged cables or a loose charging port.
Inspect for Hardware Issues
- Check if any LED lights turn on when you press the power button.
- If no lights or fan noise, it could be a dead battery or motherboard issue.
- Try removing and reinserting RAM (if comfortable doing so).
