Hi everyone.
Yesterday, I come to turn my laptop (HP 255 G4), and of course it's not want to start. I then see how is caps lock blinking three times fast, then it turns off for some small amount of seconds. Then again and again.
I searched the internet what that means, and it's pointed to RAM issue.
First I tried to reinstall/recovery the BIOS with USB and Win + B key. But that didn't work.
Then I opened the laptop and reseat the RAM. Nope.
Then I also plug in the RAM in the other slot, and again that didn't work.
Also I tried to plug that RAM in other laptop, with also have DDR3 slot, and the RAM works perfectly. But not in HP.
And I also pluged in the another RAM into HP with 2GB (previously is 4GB), and that didn't work. Also it didn't then want to turn of the computer with the power button, it's be needed to plug off power adapter from the wall.
NOTICE: That RAM in HP is original, coming pre-installed with that laptop.
Any fix? Thanks advance.

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- [Always recommended] Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- [Always recommended] The function of the fan(s) must be checked
- Short circuit test
- charger/battery test
- Components test
- General cleaning ...
HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support
HP warranty expired:
If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
