I don't believe this can be done.

 

I have only done BIOS updates on HP laptops directly -- by downloading and running the HP BIOS update.  I have not used the option to create a USB stick -- which I have been told by others, is available if you use a different PC.

 

But then, someone else here told me that option was not offered.

 

All I know you can do is use another PC to connect to the HP Product page for your PC and then download the BIOS update, run it, and see if it offers you the option of creating a USB stick.
