I have HP 2000-2120TU upgraded by replacing its 500gb HDD with a 240gb SSD. Due to this upgrade it is capable of running windows 10 pro smoothly, but it was installed in Legacy mode. I wanna use MBR2GPT.exe, but is afraid because after disabling legacy mode, boot device options is showing nothing even after I plugged a UEFI formatted USB. This usb is working in other dell laptops, but not showing in mine. This USB is showing in legacy mode though.

I would advise strongly against using MBR2GPT -- as that has no guarantee of retaining anything in the process.
IF you have done a full image backup of your laptop such that you can use that to restore it, then it's not as risky and might be worth trying.
But if you are doing this to force your laptop into UEFI mode so you can enable Secure Boot to run Windows 11, you need to tell us that because there is a LOT more than that required to install Windows 11.

Thank you for telling that that program is highly risky, but why is that so?
Initially I had thought of win11 but soon after, I just wanted to know what's the problem with it? Does it occur with all old HP laptops - 'unusable USBs in after disabling Legacy' ?
Though, meanwhile, I have dropped the plan of using MBR2GPT.exe (as I love the state of my present laptop and don't want to waste my time reconfiguring it) but I want to pick that plan up due to the greed of getting even a second loss in boot time.
So, please provide me with reasons & evidences, thank you!
