I've had this Chromebook for a while now and the night before I'm posting this question I charged my Chromebook for school. Everything worked perfectly in my first class. In my next class I'm needing to use my Chromebook again so when I pull it out it's in sleep mode (nothing irregular) I try to hold down the power button to turn it off and turn it back on but that doesn't stop the light from blinking. I try to hold it down for a while. Up to 70 seconds of holding it down only for the Chromebook to not shut down. I e tried to hold the power and restart button but nothing is stopping this Chromebook from being in sleep mode. I plugged in the charger still nothing, I tap the display, the touchpad, the keys and nothing. I don't want to open the Chromebook up because I'm not a very tech savvy person and I don't want to risk breaking it. Is there some other way to get the computer out of sleep mode??

Hi@BenGoldberg,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!
I see you are experiencing sleep mode issues with the HP X360 Chromebook.
First turn off your Chromebook completely (don't just close the lid). Next, hold down the Refresh key and then press and hold the Power button. Hold both down for 10 seconds. Release the Refresh key and then the Power button and your Chromebook will restart.
To recover from sleep mode open the lid, depress any key, or swipe a finger on the touchpad. If the device still fails to turn on, the device may be stuck in sleep mode.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
