Hi everybody.
I have a hp Elitebook 8770w 5 year ago. Everything worked perfectly. Now it have an issued. When I hit power on button, it won't boot. Won't show up anything. I already bring to repair shop, worked like normal. I bring home and after 1 day, it's happened againt. I research here and find hard reset. I did it and it worked, but it show up logo and automatically shut down, second time i try to repeat f2 button after logo then it come to a menu. I'm selected scan hard drive. Around 5 minute then laptop auto shutdown. I try to hard reset but it won't boot anymore. Hard reset solution i tried is: hold power button 10time. Then holding 30s at 11time, plug in battery and charger. The person who repaired my laptop said the source adapter is circuit failured. Did he scamed me to take my money or he legit.
Please help me, i have a project on laptop. I really want to solve this. But i don't know what i need to do.

Hi
The obvious question is...
Did you take the Power Supply to the Shop, OR did the repair shop use their own?
"The person who repaired my laptop said the source adapter is circuit failured. "
Did he actually repair, OR demonstrate it worked?
These may help..

He use his own. I don't know if he repair or not. He said "just go home, tomorrow comes here and take it". When i tested it, it worked. I'm back to my home. Open it used my adapter, still worked. Next day, the solution appeared againt. I have no idea what happened. I'm a student, don't make money yet, live alone, but he took my money buy foods for the whole week but problem still there and make me feel like he scam me.
