Hi @Furqan0312

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The black screen with 2 long beeps and 2 short beeps on your HP laptop indicates a hardware issue, often related to the BIOS or memory (RAM)

Here's how you can troubleshoot:

1. Perform a Hard Reset

Turn off the laptop and unplug it from the power source.

Remove the battery (if removable).

Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge any residual power.

Reconnect the battery and power source, then turn the laptop back on.

2. Check the RAM

If you're comfortable opening your laptop, remove and reseat the RAM modules:

Turn off the laptop and unplug it.

Open the back panel to access the RAM slots.

Remove the RAM sticks, clean the contacts gently with a lint-free cloth, and reinsert them firmly.

If you have multiple RAM sticks, try testing one at a time to identify a faulty module.

3. Reset the BIOS

If the issue persists, reset the BIOS:

Turn off the laptop and unplug it.

Press and hold the Windows key + B key, then press the power button for 2-3 seconds.

Release the power button but keep holding the Windows + B keys until the BIOS recovery screen appears.

4. Run Hardware Diagnostics

If the screen remains blank, try running HP's built-in diagnostics:

Turn off the laptop.

Press the power button and immediately start pressing the Esc key repeatedly.

Select System Diagnostics from the menu and run a memory test.

If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
