@Payal_sikhwal1, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like your HP 15s laptop might be experiencing a hardware issue, especially given that the Caps Lock key is blinking. HP laptops use blinking patterns of the Caps Lock LED to indicate specific error codes related to hardware problems. Here's how you can troubleshoot the issue step by step:

Check the Blink Code (Caps Lock Pattern)

The Caps Lock blinking pattern is an error code. Count the number of blinks between pauses. For example, if it blinks 2 times, pauses, then blinks 3 times, it would indicate a 2-3 blink code.

I suggest you refer to this guide: HP Notebook PCs - Computer beeps or a light blinks during startup | HP® Support

Perform a Hard Reset

Sometimes a simple reset can resolve power issues:

Turn off the laptop (hold the power button for 10-15 seconds if it’s still on).

Disconnect the charger.

Remove the battery (if it's removable).

Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to discharge any remaining power.

Reconnect the charger (but leave the battery out for now) and press the power button to see if the laptop powers on.

Test the Display

External Monitor Test: If you have an external monitor or TV, try connecting your laptop to it using the appropriate cable. This can help determine if the issue is with the screen or the laptop’s internals.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
