Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the laptop completely.
- Disconnect the charger and remove the battery (if removable).
- Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
- Reconnect the charger (leave the battery out for now) and turn the laptop on.
Check the Display:
- Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete to see if the Task Manager opens.
- If the screen remains grey, connect an external monitor using HDMI or VGA and check if there's any display.
Boot into Safe Mode:
- Restart your laptop and keep pressing F8 (for older versions) or Shift + F8 (for some Windows 10/11 systems) before the HP logo appears.
- If you see options, select Safe Mode and check if the issue persists.
