I bought a used laptop from a local person using Facebook Marketplace. I was planning to reinstall Windows from scratch, but there is a BIOS administrator password. I tried asking the seller if he knew the password but he said he has no idea. I've checked with the police to make sure the laptop has not been reported stolen. I've even tried removing the CMOS battery to clear the password, but it stays even though it says BIOS settings have all been reset upon replacing the battery. Here is the code I get after too many bad password attempts: I 85853271

Can you help me get this password removed? Or am I stuck with a useless laptop?
