Need to reset HP laptop without passord

My aunt can't remember any details for her laptop and I'm trying to help reset. When I try factory reseting, it keeps telling me that I need to make space, which I can't do as I can't log on.

You can use the HP cloud recovery tool and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your PC's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
