Last night (around 4am) my notebook did an automatic software update which included a Bios update. The charger was plugged in and I did everything I was prompted to. The last message I saw on the screen read "Flashing boot block", display went black and then it bricked. I have tried every method to try and recover my Notebook with no luck. I have performed Bios updates dozens of times with no issue until now. I've owned this unit since December of 2021 and it has gone out of warranty. Please if anyone has any hope for me recovering my notebook please reach out.
Thanks in advance!

Hello @Allanj79
Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.
(1) Power off notebook
(2) Disconnect charger
(3) Press and hold <power> button for at least 15 seconds
(4) Connect charger
(5) Follow --->>> BIOS Recovery Reinstall with USB
Use another Windows 10/11 computer to create <USB flash drive>
HP Firmware Pack(Intel Processors) | F.57 Rev.A | 79.9 MB | Oct 3, 2022 | Download |
Use a FAT32-formatted small <USB flash drive> (Type USB 2.0)
(6) Repeat reflash procedures:
- windows + b <USB flash drive> not connected
- windows + v <USB flash drive> not connected
- windows + b <USB flash drive> connected
- windows + v <USB flash drive> connected
Keep me updated
Kind regards
