OPERATING SYSTEM (NO BOOTABLE DEVICE FOUND)

Firstly I have both SSD and HDD in my laptop. And OS (windows 10) is installed in SSD. If I remove the HDD and start my laptop it says NO BOOTABLE DEVICE but the SSD is still intact in which OS is installed. What could be the reason behind this and can I fix it.

Did the PC come with both the SSD and the HDD already installed?

Asking because the general rule for OEMs is to install the OS on the SSD and leave the HDD for storage, thus removing the HDD would have no effect on the PC booting.

Have you tried booting with only the HDD installed?

We can proceed when you provide the information.

PC did not come with both HDD and SSD, only HDD was preinstalled. 

OS used to be in my HDD initially, after I bought a SSD I installed Windows 10 in SSD, then removed the OS from HDD.

Now the windows 10 OS is only on my SSD but not on HDD. I am unable to boot with only my HDD because I have uninstalled removed OS form HDD.

The problem here is when I remove my HDD and try to boot, it displays an error 'NO BOOTABLE DEVICE FOUND'.

Is this something to do with OS Boot Manager? if so, what should I be doing such that I will able to load my OS with out HDD.

I'm having to guess here, but was the HDD still connected when you installed Windows?

If so, THAT is the issue because the installer re-used the boot files from the HDD.  So, when you remove the HDD, there are no boot files.

However, if you have access to a working PC, you can use this utility to create a boot USB stick which you can then use to write the needed boot files to your SSD -- and it will then boot:

1) Download and install Macrium Reflect (MR) from this link on a working PC: http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.aspx
2) Use the option to create a boot USB stick or CD

That will create MR bootable media. Then, you can boot your PC into WinPE using that media.

Have patience, as that can take a while to start and bring up the screen.

Once the screen is there, select the option to Fix Windows boot problems. It will then search for the OSs installed and list them, Select the one you want to repair and click Next.

It will now do the repairs, listing the things it has done.

When finished, select the option to Restart the PC.

If this worked, the boot repair succeeded and you will have your PC back.
