I have a very old lap top that I have not turned on in years and just tried to log in to see if there is aything on it that I need and it is asking for a password which I have long forgotten. I am getting the error... System Disabled 11263. Is there a way to reset the passowrd?

Hi:
Enter the code generated by the PC in the box at the link below and it will generate an unlock code.
Normally, the code next to the HP/Compaq Phoenix BIOS is the one you want, but sometimes you need the Generic Phoenix code.
Now, I just entered your code in the box and each time I do it, I get a different code.
So, my recommendation is to keep entering the code and try the different unlock codes the website generates, if the first codes generated in both the HP/Compaq Phoenix and the Generic Phoenix don't work.
