Pavilion 15-ck020TX AC LED blinking and not switching on

HP Recommended
Pavilion 15-ck020TX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All, I have a HP Pavilion and after the battery and HDD was removed and replaced the AC LED light blinks five times then stops in a cycle, the laptop continuous in this state. The laptop also doesn't switch on anymore.

I have tried the below trouble shooting steps:

Disconnected everything on the mainboard and reconnected it again.

Removed the battery and only plugged in the AC adaptor, (same LED cycle)

Removed the HDD

Removed the RAM

Changed the power supply.

If any one can tell me what the LED indication is it would be highly appreciated.

@Rory6 Note that specific patterns of long and short blinks along with long and short beeps (where applicable) identify errors during the startup process.
Newer computers have two-part blink sequences with different color lights to indicate specific errors and you may click here and troubleshoot on your own, or check below:

5 blinks represent a General system board failure and it's recommended you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details.
