Hi @Annac22,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP PC is not able to start and you can only see the logo, there are several things you can try to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Power cycle your computer: Turn off your computer by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. Unplug the power cable from the back of the computer, and then press the power button again for 10 seconds. Reconnect the power cable and try turning on the computer again.
  • Check the power source: Make sure that the power cable is securely connected to the back of the computer and to the power outlet. Try plugging the power cable into a different power outlet to see if the issue is with the power source.
  • Check for external devices: Disconnect all external devices from your computer, including USB drives, external hard drives, and printers. Try turning on the computer again to see if the issue is resolved.
  • Reset BIOS settings: Access the BIOS settings by pressing the F10 key repeatedly while the computer is starting up. Once in the BIOS settings, select the "Restore Defaults" or "Load Setup Defaults" option and save the changes. Restart the computer to see if the issue is resolved.
  • Run a hardware diagnostic test: Many HP computers come with a built-in hardware diagnostic tool. Access this tool by pressing the F2 key repeatedly while the computer is starting up. Run a full system diagnostic to identify any hardware issues that may be causing the problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
