HP Pavilion 15-n096sa Notebook PC

Hi,

the computer worked on Sunday. I did not use it since. Today, I have tried to switch it on and the error message came up: Platform Attack Detected. It offers me two options foe platform recovery: 1. USER password  or 2. Server Token Password. Have no idea what they are😔

 Any advice please?

Thank you

Hi,

It looks like this, hope it is visible enough 🙂

I did try to get recover keys from my Microsoft account, but no success. Have none saved there as someone else helped me to set up laptop years ago 😞

Hi,

Yes I am the owner of this device. Tried to use my Microsoft password to recover ID platform,  but it doesn't work. Not sure what to do to be fair.

Don't know any other user password or token server password. Have this laptop 10 years and never had issue like this. Also don't have any Mcafee subscriptions valid for years. Contacted Mcafee and they said they can't do anything as it I need to contact device manufacturers. I am really stuck here and don't know what to do.....😔

Hi,

I contacted HP directly,  but warranty has expired. I think I don't have any proof it is mine as it was a present, received 10 years ago.

Don't worry about it.... I try something else.

Thank you anyway 🙂
