Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am starting work from home and my employer provided me with a usb stick but i have to boot from the usb. I follow the instructions that I was given. Put the USB in, Power off the computer. Turn the power on keep hitting F9 until the screen come up to select another boot device problem is the screen never loads. Computer either loads windows as it normally would or I get a screen that says Windows didn't load properly. I can never the screen that allows to select another boot device. I have also tried F10 and had the same result. I tried pressing escape and then I got another menu that showed F9 for boot device and F10 for Bios I selected F9 but didn't see my usb listed. is there another way of doing this?

The ESC key --> F9 working but NOT showing the USB stick means that you have to (as a minimum) go into the BIOS/UEFI settings and disable secure boot as a minimum.  After that, the PC should see the USB stick and boot from it.

If it does not, you are stuck and will not be able to boot from it.
