@Nashoji566, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Startup Error!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It appears that your laptop is conducting various diagnostic tests during startup, which suggests that there might be hardware-related issues. The following steps may help resolve the issue:

Troubleshooting the Startup Error

Memory Test:

  • Allow the memory test to complete. If it passes without errors, the issue might not be related to the RAM.
  • If errors are detected, try reseating or replacing the RAM modules.

Hard Drive Test:

  • Allow the hard drive test to complete. If it finds errors, there might be a problem with your hard drive.
  • Consider backing up your data and replacing the hard drive if necessary.

Language:

  • Make sure the correct language is selected. This should not typically cause startup issues, but ensure the settings are correct.

Exit:

  • If the tests are completed successfully, try exiting the diagnostics and rebooting your laptop.

Steps to Solve This Issue

Enter BIOS/UEFI:

  • When you start your laptop, press a key (usually F2, F10, Del, or Esc) to enter the BIOS/UEFI setup.
  • Check if the BIOS/UEFI recognizes your RAM and hard drive.

Run Extended Diagnostics:

  • HP laptops often come with built-in diagnostic tools. Access these tools to run more extensive tests on your hardware.

Check Connections:

  • If you are comfortable opening your laptop, check all internal connections (RAM, hard drive, other components) to ensure they are properly seated.

Restart in Safe Mode:

  • Try restarting your laptop in Safe Mode to see if it boots correctly. If it does, there might be an issue with some of the software or drivers.

Update Firmware and Drivers:

  • Ensure your firmware (BIOS/UEFI) and drivers are up to date. You can typically find updates on the HP support website.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
