Here are informations about the notebook.

I just got this elite book notebook and I discovered the BIOS is already locked with password which is not provided. And I need to enable virtualization to run android studio on it. Please I need help, anyone please. Thanks

BIOS version : Hewlett-Packard L71 ver. 01.11 

SMBIOS VERSION: 2.7

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

 

That was the only way it could be done.

Most HP business notebooks including the one you have, do not generate system disabled codes.

 

Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.

d. No posts shall include instructions or directions intended to bypass or subvert security measures, including passwords, locking mechanisms, fingerprint scans, etc., or to bypass any safety measures.
