I have hp victus laptop . When I press power button it just blinks once then nothing happen no screen on no any other key blink . I tried hard resetting but that too don't work. Charging led is showing but always on usb has no power.

It sounds like your HP Victus laptop is having some kind of power issue. Since you've already tried a hard reset and it's still not working, let's go through a few more steps to troubleshoot:

 

Check Power Supply

Battery: If the battery is removable, take it out and plug the charger directly into the laptop without the battery. This helps rule out any battery-related issues.

Charger: Ensure the charging adapter is properly connected and the power outlet is working. If possible, test the charger with another device to confirm it's functioning properly.

 

Perform a Hard Reset Again (with specific steps)

Since you've already tried this, let's ensure we're doing it the correct way:

Remove all peripherals (USB devices, external monitors, SD cards, etc.).

Turn off the laptop, and then disconnect the power cable.

Hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power.

Plug the charger back in and press the power button again.

Try this to see if anything changes.

 

Check for Diagnostic Codes or LED Blink Patterns

The single blink of the power button could be indicating an error code. HP laptops use blink codes to diagnose hardware issues.

A continuous blink pattern might be more specific and can give us clues.

Check for Display Issues

External Display: If possible, connect your laptop to an external monitor or TV to check if the internal screen is the issue.

Brightness: Sometimes the screen may be on, but the brightness is too low. Try adjusting the brightness using function keys (e.g., F2/F3).

I have tried turning on laptop only using power adaptor after removing battery same problem exist. I have tried all hard resetting method on battery without battery no improvement. Since battery is charging when I put adapter in so battery may not be problem . What happened was I opened back panel to clean laptop as there was so many ants in it , after removing back panel I disconnected battery first then by dry toothbrush I cleaned by laptop then reassamble it . Since then this problem arises because laptop was working fine before all of this. Done this cleaning process before too don't know what happened this time .

It looks like something might have gotten damaged during the cleaning process, since the issue started after you opened the laptop. The laptop has very delicate components, and even a small mistake during reassembly could cause problems.

 

Since the battery still charges, the power supply seems fine, but there might be an issue inside. I recommend reaching out to an HP authorized service center for help. They can check everything more thoroughly and find out what's wrong.
