Power button blinking can’t turn laptop on or off

Hi My screen is blank, the power bottom is flashing.

if I depress the power button for a long time it still does not power off or on, it just blinks.

whn I plug it in it’s no different- the light at the plug in point flashes

I can’t power it on or off, no fan noise, nothing. Just a flashing light at the power putting and flashing light when I plug in.

please help. I’m stuck and need to use my laptop. 

I would remove the battery, but the battery is internal.
