Laptop not getting switched on

Do you have any more info, like what you did before the incident, and have you tried leaving the product on charge for 2-3 hours? That could maybe work.

I understand how it can feel when your laptop doesn’t power on, but don’t worry  we’ll work through this together. 

Could you please share the exact HP laptop model you’re using?  

 

In the meantime, here are a few steps you can try right away:

  1. Check power connection Ensure the charger is firmly plugged into both the laptop and wall socket. Try a different outlet if possible.
  2. Inspect charger and battery Look for any visible damage to the charging cable or adapter. 
  3. Perform a hard reset Disconnect the charger, then press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds. Reconnect power and try switching it on again.
  4. Check indicator lights See if any lights blink when you press the power button or connect the charger this can give clues about whether the laptop is receiving power.
