I have purchased HP Care Pack 3Y for my three notebook and I never received any email to activate the pack.
After around 16 months I had an SSD problem on my laptop ( that I have never used, yes never used because it was a "spare" computer ) and I discovered that my warranty was expired.
When I tried to register the Carepack ( after several request to reseller/distributor to receive the activation code), I was discovered that the purchased CarePack is not compatible with my product. As result I'm not able to register HP Care Pack, I'm not able to purchase a new Care Pack ( as suggested from [email protected]) because I need certificate of "good condition of my HW", and my purchased CarePack has been lost.
How could I have registered a Care Pack if I never received an email? How could I have known that my Care Pack code was incorrect (purchased Care Pack UK703E for HW product 9Y7J4ET)? Who’s to say that the code for my Care Pack wasn’t the correct one when I bought the laptop and that it has only just changed now?
What is your opinion on this type of service?
