The information below will indicate clearly why you should have written down your BIOS password -- or not have set one in the first place -- as NOW, it can NOT be reset.
BIOS and power-on passwords are contained in the firmware that is present inside the BIOS chips -- which are soldered to the motherboard and thus, are not replaceable. So, you can't just buy a replacement chip and swap them. Also, neither your nor HP can reset the BIOS password on the current motherboard. Thus, replacement of the motherboard is required with one that has a BIOS chip that does not have a password in the firmware. This is very expensive to do and can often cost more than simply replacing the PC
If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard, you would have to take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do anything for you -- but we can not assist in that in any way.

Hello
The pc is not locked with system password, and I can use it, so I don't need to replace chips or motherborard.
My problem is only I need to access bios settings.
I don't know If usb boot is enabled or not, just the laptop is not booting from the usb I created following the article I mentioned above.
As that article tells ì"How to reset BIOS password" and someone did it succesfully, I think, even the password is stored in the BIOS memory, it can be possible to reset it using the software explained in that post.

Look a the DATE of that thread -- as you requires SMC.BIN files to do this -- and HP no longer distributes those files.
The info I posted is the CURRENT situation, not one from four years ago, and NOW, there is no way for you to do this anymore.
