Remove BIOS Password EliteBook 8570p

A friend of me gave me his old EliteBook 8570p. I upgraded it with a SSD and some RAM.

I then realised that there was a MasterUser with a BIOS-Password. Unfortunately my friend cannot remember the Password itself and there seems to be no easy way to remove it.

I completely resetted the Notebook and reinstalled Windows 7 with the Help of HP Support. They had sent me a Win7 DVD so i was able install the OS since there had been problems with the recovery partition.

I was able to generate a new BIOS-User and have my fingerprints read, so that was OK for me until now.

A few months ago i upgraded to WIN10. One of the outcomes thereafter was, that no Fonts were usable anymore in Office 2013. 

So, yesterday i tried to solve by deleting the FontCache. Therefor i had to gain ownership over the WINDOWS Directory. After Deleting the FontCache-Files i gave back ownership to the TrustedInstaller.....and that was the end of my night.

Windows 10 did not work properly after that. No Network adapters etc. So finally i had to repair the Windows Installation resulting in a loss of my Office 2013 and the ability to log in with FingerPrintReader. I solved that problem by now but:

I WANT TO GET RID OF THAT BIOS-MASTERPASSWORD.

Is there any way to delete the memory section of the BIOS where the Password-Hash is stored? As far as i understood the Password itself is not stored, only the hash. But then it should be possible to flash a new BIOS without hash?

Has anyone ever tried that?

Hi:

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

That was the only way it could be done.

Most HP business notebooks including the one you have, do not generate system disabled codes.

Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.
