Request for BIOS Administrator Password Reset (HP ProBook 450 G8)

Dear HP Support Team,

I recently purchased a used HP ProBook 450 G8. The laptop boots normally into the operating system, but access to the BIOS/UEFI setup requires an Administrator password that was not provided by the previous owner.

Because of this, I am unable to access or modify BIOS settings. I would like to request assistance with an official BIOS Administrator password reset procedure (SMC.bin or other authorized method).

• Model: HP ProBook 450 G8

• BIOS Version: T88 Ver. 01.21.00 (09/04/2025)

Please let me know what information you require (serial number, product number, UUID, photos of the device, etc.) to process this request.
