I am running the Run-In test from the Start opt-out menu.  It has been running for 15 Days 7 hours and is on the 994th iteration.

No show problems.

How long should I continue to allow this to run?

HP Recommended

"The Run-In Test repeats the Start-Up Test and checks for intermittent problems that the short start-up test does not detect. The test will run continuously until it is manually stopped by pressing the esc key."--See:

I have a hp pavilion hope desktop. Product number B4j27ev#ava.  Model # H81360T.  Windows 7 dual core I7. For the longest time I have had trouble getting it to start up. I have had it several years and bought it new. When it arrived I Added another 1 t and another500g hard drive from my old 😛 computer along with a 2nd CD read write drive. Always worked fine and then about8 mos ago would not stare up properly.  When I turn it on it gets to the spinning window and freezes up . at first once in a while and now all the time. If I shut it off it could take 30 to 50 attempts to start and then it will get past the spinning logo and run perfectly until I shut it off. Does not do this with a reboot though.

So I leave it on, my brother is a it tech and is real good at these things and he could not figure this out eather. Using start normally takes30 2 50 tries. The other choice on that screen tries too but stops before the boot gets going 2 bars across the bottom.

I ran all HP list of tests in full size and all passed with no issue. The run in test has ran 209 times now and seems to never quit. So far all is perfect. I thing this is a Windows 7 issue maybe with the spinning logo. HELP PLEASE
